Will this live in carer employed by you?
Yes, we pay all our staff on a PAYE basis. We feel this relieves pressure from both carers and clients
How will I be invoiced?
You can choose to be invoiced weekly or monthly.
Can the carers visit before they start?
This can sometimes be arranged however, if it is not possible we always arrange a video call.
Do they have to wear a uniform?
This is entirely up to you.
What’s included in live in care?
A live in carer will provide all you need to live independently at home, including, help with your medication and personal care, companionship, household tasks and diary management.
What isn’t included?
Live in carers do not have responsibility for anything that presents a health and safety risk, for instance gardening or window cleaning.
What do I need to provide for a live in carer?
A bedroom and bathroom facilities. A bedroom and bathroom facilities.
They will need to cook their own food so use of a kitchen.
Wi-Fi would be appreciated and we would be prepared to contribute to the cost of this.
How long will the live in carer stay with me?
Carers work on a rota basis. We aim for continuity in every package of care and so we try to it to two regular carers with a maximum of three.
Generally our carers work on a four weeks working and one week off basis.
